Hello, lovely people!

I have been MIA lately, sorry. I have been so wrapped up with uni and work and life in general that I haven’t been writing in a while.

Today when I watched the latest episode of Grey’s Anatomy one of my favorite TV shows EVER. Brilliant actors, amazing script and storyline- every episode shows how people deal with everyday live struggles,  how love prevails above all.
Anyways, my point was that it got me thinking about something. Have you ever thought why doctors usually marry doctors or lawyers marry lawyers, or writers- writers, or actors- actors, etc. Well, I think I know the answer at least in my point of view. I believe in soul mates. Honestly, I do. It is not necessarily someone from the opposite sex- it could be a friend, a sister, brother,a grandmother. But if you are the luckiest person in the whole world your soul mate is the person who you choose to spend your life with.

So, yes it makes sense that doctors marry doctors. It is not only because they live in the same social world, as in surrounded by like minded people, it is the fact that they understand each other to an extent that nobody else does. They understand what it is to spend 20 hours in the hospital doing surgeries and at the end of the day not wanting to leave. They understand their passion, their calling, they understand each other on a soul level above the physical and material.

Having someone who understands you on that level is maybe one of the most amazing things in the whole universe. If that person gets to be your mate, gets to hold you every night when you go to sleep, gets to kiss you good morning and cry with you when you are sad then you are the luckiest, most enviable person on the planet. soulmates
I would like to find that person, I would like to feel this connection. Right now I am a nobody- I don’t even know what I want to eat for dinner, but some day when I figure it out or even before that I pray that I meet the person who will understand me completely.

I do have someone who understands me more that anybody else does, it is different though and I can tell you why. With the person you choose to spend your life with you share more than just interests, you share love- one that goes beyond the love for a friend, you share passion and lust. Your connection with this person is very deep, so if they get to be your soul mate like I said you are the LUCKIEST person in the whole wide world.

I don’t know if you’ll agree with me or not, all I know is that I would like to meet that person for myself and I sincerely wish it to everybody.

Love and be loved, nothing is more precious than that! 🙂

Mortal Instruments: City of bones

Hiya guys!

So the title kind of hints what this article of mine will be about, duhh :D.

Have you watched Mortal Instruments: City of Bones?  city of bones

I actually watched it a couple of days ago and I loved it. For me it’s one those movies I get infatuated with and can’t stop thinking about. I’ve been researching a lot of things about it. For instance, I found out that Jase a.k.a. Jamie Campbell Bower, one of the main characters in the movie has actually played in Harry Potter and wait for it- Twilight. Yeah, I was shocked too because in the first moment I did not make the connection.

So, about the movie. It’s a fantasy story about angels and nephilims and demons and all kinds of fairy tale stuff or scary tale more like it ,and you all know I’ m a sucker for this kind of thing, so naturally I loved it. But the best news is that the movie is actually based on BOOKS. I am a sucker for that as well. So I’ve decided that I am going to read those books.  Back to the movie, though.

So, what I gathered from the movie, there is a whole secret society of warlocks, vampires, witches, demons and shadow hunters. Clary, however has no idea of any of that, she just lives her life with her mom in Brooklyn, New York. Naturally, all kinds of crazy stuff happen and Clary finds out she’s THE CHOSEN. And that’s when the boy comes into the picture-Jase. Clary and Jase are kind of in love but they find out that they maybe siblings. Which sucks, I know.

jase cobSo, they have to fight the attraction they have for each other, because brother and sister come on it’s sick, while fighting the evil.

I really, honestly loved the movies. I think it’s perfectly made from the mise en scène, to the music, to the editing-PERFECTION.

I am not the only one who liked it, obviously because the film adaptation for the second book in the series has started earlier in September this year- “Mortal Instruments: City of Ashes”. I am so excited for it and can’t wait but before I watch it I promise I will read the books. clary

What about you? Meanwhile I wish you all to let your imagination run free for the night, who knows we might live a fairy tale or in this case a little bit of a scary tale.

Here’s a little something that I wrote. It just came to me all of a sudden tonight. I hope you like it. 🙂

This was the night. She was going to do it.  She was actually going to be with him, as a woman.

It felt as if she had been waiting for this moment all along, it felt so right to be here with him. She has been alone all her life. Nobody cared for her. Not anymore, though.

Tossed in the foster system, mere days after her birth Lia has been all alone. Lost all her life, she never had anything not a mom or a dad, no brothers or sisters, not even a doll. Yeah, she turned out okay. After spending 18 years in the godforsaken foster system being tossed from one home to another, wondering why nobody wanted her, she was thrown on the street. But Lia is strong and she figured it out.  She had a flat now, a job and a full scholarship for Harvard University.

Her live seemed full, at least she thought so, until he came along.

And now she was going to be with him. He was so beautiful in the dim light, his big body moving graciously toward the bed. And when he spoke, oh his voice, that dark husky voice promising so much and he asked her “What do you want?”. Oh, God that voice, that body, that man. “- Everything!- she said. I want everything with you”. And she did.

This was the very first moment of her existence in which her body and her soul were in sync. She felt truly alive, she felt that her destiny had met with her and she didn’t hate her. Honest to God, Lia never thought fate could be kind to her, but she was because she met her with her other half, with the love of her life. Being with him felt real, true and for the first time in her life she knew that she belonged somewhere-with him. She was finally found and ready to start living.

….And they lived happily ever after

Guys I have a confession to make.

I am a gigantic, hopeless romantic. I am one of those people who seek love in it’s truest, purest form.

The love from first sight, the one that consumes you, the one that makes you think that without the person of your affection you are nothing.

A lot of people laugh at me because of that and the fact that I don’t hide it.LoveLife

Currently I am reading The Black Dagger Brotherhood series. For those of you who haven’t heard of them, they are written by JR Ward.

The books are about five vampires who protect the world from the Lessening Society. And they are hell of a vampires, they are like the best there is. They are  6 foot 6 high and the weight around 250 pounds and they are covered in muscles and it’s not only that- they are the best looking bastards you have ever seen.

So, in the books Ward tells each brother’s individual story, how they fall in love, how they fight for their love, how sometimes destiny has other plans and they lose what they most treasure in the world and along with that they loose themselves as well.

I got to tell you, I’ve read a lot of books but none of them had what these series have. They are like ‘Twilight’ and ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ all together and even better.  The way the love is described from it’s purest form to the lust and desire that’s behind all that. It faces everyday problems such as brake ups and work but It also faces much deeper ones. All the brothers have history, they are all tortured souls who have coped with what life has served them and are trying to do something with it- and then they fall in love. And that’s the turning point for them, because love changes people even the ones who swear they have nothing to love with.

In this book it doesn’t matter what you look like, or how old are you, or if you have money, or what kinds of clothes you wear- all the superficial things in our everyday life. One of the brothers falls in love with a human woman who has leukemia and is going to die. And the first time he meets her he doesn’t even see her, he falls in love with her voice and her soul- not the fact that she’s been through chemotherapy  countless times and her body doesn’t look like a body of a 31 year old woman.

So, yeah, I am a hopeless romantic and I want love like it’s in the books. Does that make mi naive? Probably, and to some people I might appear mental, but I don’t mind. It sounds strange but I kind of know, that I will have the love I want with the right guy. And whenever and wherever it happens it will be perfect for me. And I also believe that there is someone for all of us, THE ONE if you want to call it that way.

So with this article I wish you all to believe that there is someone for you- no matter if you are straight or gay- there exists, somewhere in the endless universe the perfect match for you, the one that will love and accept you unconditionally and irrevocably.

Hey, guys!

I know I’ve been AWOL all summer and I am sorry about that but now I’m back.

I am also back at Uni and officially a second year student. Yay me! 😀

Okay, so you know how I am always positive and talking about believing and stuff. Well, I’m kind of stuck  due to things that are going on in my life right now.

See, I am back at Uni and I am desperately looking for a job but so far I haven’t found anything and that to be honest with you- SUCKS big time. And I was thinking why is that happening to me? You know, why have other people found jobs and I haven’t? Have you ever thought that yourselves, I am pretty sure everyone has because the thing is we are human beings and we are prone to thinking that way. But you know what, that sucks as well. To hell with “Why not me?”, or “What do they have that I don’t?”. Nothing, that’s what. Because event thought I am kind of at a crossroads right now I believe that no one can take anything form you. So, the fact that right now I don’t have a job I need and other people have doesn’t mean they are better or they have taken mine, it means they are going their own way and so am I.

It’s ironic though, that movies are made exactly like that. They show us different people, different lives, different fates- all of them unique, all of them filled with difficulties.

A very wise person once told me that I shouldn’t worry about the future and what it may bring, because whether I worry or not the outcome will be same. Everything is set in motion and one way or another we all get what want. We just have to enjoy every moment of every day, because life is short. I don’t know if many of you watch “Glee” but it’s one of my favourite TV dramas. Recently though, one of their main characters Cory Monteith -a.k.a Finn Hudson died. The episode honoring his memory just came out. In my opinion, it’s one of the best they have had so far. The thing is, it teaches us not to dwell on the past or the future but to enjoy the present because one day you are here, the next you are not. And the only irreversible thing is DEATH- everything else can be changed.

“Glee” has taught  me a lot of things. The biggest one so far- enjoy every second of every day, don’t worry and most of all tell the people close to you how much you love them and how much they mean to you.

Dedicated to Cory Monteith (1982-2013)

What if…

Have you ever thought just for a moment “What if….”.

What if I was skinnier, what if I was more beautiful, what if I had more money, what if I was born elsewhere.

These are questions that every single person faces at a certain time in their life.

If I should be honest I have asked myself those questions a lot of times. See, movies in particular kind of make us ask those questions. In movies everything is possible and easy whereas actually in real life it is not that simple. That is why we say the cliche ” This is a movie”.

It is a movie and yes movies are entertainment but they are also true because behind every movie there is a hidden meaning.Renesmee-Twilight-Breaking-Dawn-Part-2

Sometimes, when I am watching a movie or a TV show, most of which are American, I ask myself what if I was born there. See, I have never admitted this to anyone but I really want to be making movies, I want to be a director like Bill Condon who made Twilight or like Tim Burton who made “Alice in Wonderland” or James Cameron who made “Titanic” all of which are epic movies. Movies are my passion and I really want to be doing what I love.

titanicI am from a small country in Europe most of you haven’t even heard of , a lovely country but one with a small economy. Sometimes I wonder if my dream will come true and not because I don’t believe in it , don’t get me wrong but because I am from such a small country.

I want to do something big, not to be famous or anything but to share with people my passion, to show them what I love.

Maybe I won’t be the next James Cameron but I certainly won’t give up. I have never given up for anything important and I am not starting now. However, I do believe we create our own destiny and I believe dreams come true, so I will keep pursuing mine and I will see what happens and  in the mean time I suggest you do the same. You never know, it might be our lucky day!

Game of Thrones

One of the truly remarkable TV series made in recent years is without question “Game of Thrones”.

And it is part of my personal favourties, I might add. game-of-thrones

“Game of Thrones” is something different. Not that I don’t watch like a ton of TV series and I don’t care about the genre either but “Game of Thrones” is  so different than everything else that’s been made in recent years that you just cannot ignore it.

It is exquisitely made, with such precision and detail that transport you directly in that time and place where everything is so different that you can’t imagine that such a place ever existed. You might not know but it is based on the books of George R.R. Martin. I personally haven’t read the books, which is a big loss for me but I will read them someday, anyways my point is that when a movie or a TV series is based on books they are better than pure fantasy.

I won’t go persuading you to watch it if you don’t want but it truly is something worth seeing, even just one episode.

I fell in love with it from the first episode and it is currently in its 3rd season, though what  is still hard for me to comprehend is how such cruelty has existed in the world. I know we have evolved and still I cannot believe what savages we have been. Maybe that’s the interesting part of the series, maybe not, I don’t really know.

All I know is I like it and I think there is a lesson for us in it- as there is in every movie or series of course.

It is cliche, but the series do show us that love and loyalty are the most important things in the world. It also shows is that where there is good in people there is also bad which path you choose to take is what is important.images

Take a look, guys because as I already said  nothing like “Game of Thrones” has ever been made and that is what makes it so special!
